What We Do
At Ebenezer Gospel Assembly, ministry is more than what happens during a worship service. We believe our faith should be visible in the way we worship, grow, care for people, and serve our community.
Serving people to change lives.
That mission connects everything we do. Whether we are gathering for worship, teaching the Word, caring for a family, feeding our neighbors, or helping someone take their next step in faith, the work begins with people.
The Work Takes Many Forms
Different ministries have different assignments, but each one helps us carry the same mission forward.
Worship & Prayer
We gather to worship God, hear His Word, pray together, and strengthen our relationship with Him. Worship and prayer keep us grounded in the faith that shapes everything else we do.
Discipleship & Growth
Through Bible study, teaching, children and youth ministry, fellowship, and practical opportunities to grow, we help people understand God's Word and live out their faith.
Care & Connection
Church is family. We seek to walk with people through life's celebrations, challenges, transitions, grief, and moments when encouragement and connection matter most.
Community Outreach
We take ministry beyond the walls of the church through community outreach, food ministry, prison ministry, nursing home outreach, and other opportunities to meet people where they are.
Ministry Beyond Our Walls
We believe the church should be present where people need encouragement, compassion, practical help, and hope.
Through Operation Here To Serve and other outreach efforts, EGA has served thousands of meals while building relationships throughout our community.
Our history of service also includes prison ministry, nursing home outreach, community events, and ministries designed to care for people in every season of life.
Many Assignments. One Purpose.
At EGA, ministries are not separate organizations competing for attention. Each ministry has a particular assignment and a particular group of people it may serve, but we move together as one church.
Men, women, children, young people, families, seniors, outreach teams, teachers, worship leaders, and ministry workers all bring different gifts to the work.
A ministry can have its own assignment without having its own mission.
Find Your Place in the Work.
You don't have to know everything or have everything figured out before you begin. Come worship with us, grow with us, serve with us, and discover where your gifts can make a difference.
